Postilion Payment Switch Development Lead

Job description

Experienced Postilion professionals with a strong background in payments architecture within the financial or banking sectors, profound problem-solving abilities, and exceptional communication skills. Familiarity with multi-disciplinary technology, especially POSTILION, and a solid understanding of IT best practices are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Postilion applications, ensuring alignment with program specifications and agreed standards.
  • Prepare and execute unit test cases, address any detected errors, and conduct comprehensive unit testing.
  • Develop and maintain technical support documentation according to set standards.
  • Participate in reviews of work outputs and document all work in compliance with organizational standards.
  • Translate logical designs into component designs considering performance requirements and existing systems.
  • Contribute to system and program test plans to verify the correct operation of completed systems, documenting and addressing findings.
  • Build user system interfaces such as menus, screen dialogues, input/output procedures, validation and error correction routines, access controls, and recovery strategies.
  • Collaborate with data analysis and database design colleagues to ensure system designs are integrated and optimized.
  • Provide technical guidance and assistance to less experienced team members.
  • Monitor and adhere to organizational standards and project timelines to ensure timely delivery of solutions.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Postilion systems, including application support across various platforms.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant project implementation experience in banking or processor environments using Postilion.
  • Proficiency in Java SE, Microsoft SQL Server, and Python with an understanding of advanced SQL queries.
  • Experience with Windows OS, virtual machines, and a good grasp of Postilion real-time and office SDK.
  • Experience with Linux based microservices, kubernetes and CICD principles.
  • Familiarity with EFT protocols, ISO 8583 standards, EMV RTC processing, and cryptographic hardware modules.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with ATM, POS, card schemes, and Postilion products like eSocket and POS Portal.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Educational background in BE/BTech/BSc IT/MSc IT/BCA/MCA.
  • Minimum 4 years of overall experience.
